BIO
Hailing from foggy San Francisco, Marijke Silberman was raised in a hotbed of community-driven, radical arts that shaped her passion for preaching the liberation of creative play. Their training and work has taken them from NYU Tisch School of the Arts to The Shanghai Theater Academy, to the woods of Williamstown Theatre Festival, and nearly every performance venue south of Union Square. Marijke unapologetically adores spreadsheets, and has worked in production coordination and stage management for music festivals, movie premieres, Jewish synagogues, and Santa Claus at Rockefeller Center. She is most proud of her work with the dazzling kiddos of New Country Pride Camp, which culminated in the inaugural Drag Queen Shabbat, performed and directed by LGBTQ+ youth ages 4-13 on Staten Island.
