PASTOR SLATS TOOLE

 

Slats is a sound designer, director, and Christian educator/activist/pastor. They have worked with such companies as Built4Collapse, The Hangar Theatre, The Attic, Center for Contemporary Opera, Te Ilum, Theater In Asylum, and The Other Mirror. Their sound installation work has been exhibited in Accra, Ghana and New York City. They did their undergraduate work at NYU-Tisch School of the Arts-Playwrights Horizons Theater School and received their Master of Divinity from Princeton Theological Seminary. They frequently present on the intersections of queer/trans identity and worship, and their book of queer lenten poetry can be found on Amazon.
