ROSE GINSBERG
BIO
Rose Ginsberg is a theatre director, deviser, workshop facilitator, producer, and educator. Favorite directing credits include two site-specific performances of McGuire and Simon’s musical Express (New York Transit Museum); Jean Anouilh’s Antigone (Manhattan Repertory Theatre); and multiple productions of The Vagina Monologues and A Memory, a Monologue, a Rant, and a Prayer for Eve Ensler’s V-Day Campaign to end violence against women and girls (Looking Glass Theatre, ArtHouse Jersey City). She has worked as a teaching artist at multiple companies including Tectonic Theater Project and led workshops at organizations such as The Door: A Center of Alternatives, the University of Rwanda College of Education, and Congregation Beit Simchat Torah. Rose has an M.A. in Applied Theatre from the CUNY School of Professional Studies.
